Water Bill for Africa Project

For constant access to clean water, all you do is pay a monthly water bill.  Unfortunately it's not so easy in Africa.  Many communities lack faucets or even local water wells.  Join WorldServe as we bring clean water to needy families through the revolutionary Water Bill for Africa project.

MARCH 2007

World Water Day Campus Tour

Mark your calendars because March 22 is World Water Day.  Join people on every continent rallying to help people everywhere get access to clean, safe water.  WorldServe is sponsoring the World Water Day Campus Tour - a tour of Assemblies of God colleges, universities and the seminary. I will be joined by some friends to share about the need for clean water and give you ways to get involved.  You'll also learn how you can Pay an African's Water Bill.

FEBRUARY 2007

First Friday Art Walk
Featuring Doug Pitt's "The Water Project"
A Photo Exhibit to Benefit WorldServe

We are so excited about this one.  On Friday, February 2, in downtown Springfield, Missouri, come out for the First Friday Art Walk.  Our friend Doug Pitt, brother of actor Doug Pitt, will display 20 photos from his recent trip with WorldServe to visit water project sites in Africa. Each of the framed photos is on sale for $250, and all the proceeds go toward the drilling of a new community water well in Tanzania. Buy amazing artwork and give the gift of life?  Now that's cool. Doug's photos will be shown at Randy Bacon Photography Studio & Art Galley (600 W. College Street at the Monarch Art Factory). The event lasts from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.  For more info, visit It's All Downtown and the Randy Bacon Art Gallery.
