WATER ENGINEERING.

WorldServe has a highly skilled Water Management Team with fully equipped machinery on the ground to sustainably execute WorldServe water projects. Their scope of work includes surveying, drilling deep boreholes, sustainable/renewable powered pumping systems, distribution systems, and storage systems. Comprised of employees who are native of the countries they serve, the Water Management Team members also have  capabilities in light civil engineering. Beyond providing effective support for WorldServe’s humanitarian projects, the team also serves other humanitarian organizations, uniting to develop the rural water sector in Africa.

SUSTAINABLE POWER.

Sustainable power means utilizing renewable energy and working with partners that are the best and pioneers of their industry. WorldServe’s technology partners in this area are like the donors who support us otherwise – best in class. The key technology we use includes solar pumping systems from Lorentz, solar panels from CanadianSolar, batteries for energy storage with Tesla, and windmills from Aeromotor. Given that the water projects most critically need are in rural areas without any infrastructure, creating sustainable power for water and energy is key in development utilizing the best resources possible.

VISION.

No matter the water project – whether a well is associated with a school, health services provider, or a church – those with whom we work share our commitment to restoring dignity through clean water and our vision of solving the water crisis, safely, transparently, and sustainably.

As we do, our partners believe that Water Changes Everything.

More than a decade ago, our founders challenged U.S. and Tanzanian business leaders to provide clean water to local communities as a sustainable business, increasing the capacity to provide clean water – and all that comes from it –  throughout East Africa.

Today, WorldServe’s drilling company – Maji-Tech – sustainably executes WorldServe water projects as well as those of countless other humanitarian organizations, businesses and the government. More than three million people in East Africa receive water each day from water projects facilitated by WorldServe. With water in place, communities thrive.

With years of experience building sustainable, community-owned water projects, we work closely to ensure that every dollar is accounted for, engaging local drilling crews, engineers, and mechanics, as well as the necessary support to make things run smoothly.
