Than Quench Thirst.
The world’s most impoverished people need access to clean, plentiful water. But the need doesn’t end with water—and neither do the possibilities for change.
When your church partners with WorldServe International, you’ll provide an African community with a plentiful, sustainable water source that will lead to other investments in the personal, economic, and spiritual progress of real people on the other side of the world.
We drill deep boreholes that resist pollution. Then, we install infrastructure and fund upkeep.
Many of our projects were born from African churches, including many associated with the Assemblies of God.
Once water flows, your church can expand its impact into agriculture, education, economic development, and more.
For every dollar you give, one of our generous partners will match your donation—up to $4.5 million in total!
An estimated 200 million hours are spent each day collecting unsafe water, primarily by women and children. The impact is severe, with nearly 2,000 children dying daily from waterborne illness. Beyond health, this crisis undermines education, gender equity, healthcare access, faith-formation, and economic development.

Many Sub-Saharan African communities revolve around a local church. Their pastors often act as our first contact within a community and help us maximize our impact. As we support the church, we help them increase their gospel impact too.
In Sub-Saharan Africa, 319 million people have no reliable drinking water, and 79% of rural households have no running water.
and Girls
Once water is flowing in a community, you can provide women with sanitation, education, business opportunities, and more.

“Every Effort Brings Maximum Results”
“Partnering with WorldServe International has been transformative for Christ Fellowship. WorldServe’s commitment to excellence means every effort brings maximum results. Every dollar is accounted for. Every borehole drilled brings health and opportunities to people in need. And most of all, every water project brings the love of Jesus with it. We love that our partnership with WorldServe means we get to help open the doors for the gospel in places where it’s needed the most. Even if you don’t step foot in sub-Saharan Africa, you can partner with WorldServe to impact it, changing lives now and for eternity.”
